River Forest Community School Corporation is a school district headquartered in New Chicago, Indiana, United States. The district serves New Chicago, portions of Lake Station, portions of Hobart, unincorporated sections of Lake County, and portions of Gary.

River Forest High School
The High School is an academically apt school like the rest of the school's in the corporation. The schools academic team made it to state in the 2008-9 school year for the United States Academic Decathlon making fourth at state. The school's band program has also been a prestigious one in past years.
